In 2014 and 2015 Kim was racing on the local circuit in South Africa where she won the prestigious Amashova race from Pietermaritzburg to Durban over a distance of 106 kilometers. Her other major road win was at the 125 kilometer Carnival City race in Johannesburg where she outpaced three riders from competing teams to take the victory. Kim and her racing partner also won the Southern Tropical Mountain Bike four day stage race on her home island of Mauritius in late 2014.

We look forward to seeing Kim on the English roads next week where she will line up with some of the best women’s riders in the world.

Kim commented on the upcoming Women’s Tour “To ride with these women will be an incredible experience. I will do my absolute best” One of Kim’s favorite rules to live by is “Excuses are useless and results are priceless”

We wish her all the very best for the tour.
