They had a big input to our approach to major race including the Women’s Tour in 2014, and we only see that partnership expanding.”
“We’ve been listening to our supporter community and we’ll have some new team themed products available as well as having Milltag with us as more major events during 2015.” Commented team manager Stefan Wyman
The 2015 clothing designs will be released soon and will include the UK National Road Race Champions clothing to be worn by Laura Trott following her victory in Abergavenny in June.
“Working with the Matrix Fitness team is nothing short of a pleasure. Each and everyone involved is totally focused on growing not only a world class cycling team but also revolutionising women’s cycling from grassroots to the pro peloton. We look forward to being part of the Matrix Fitness professional team family for many years.” Commented Ed Cowburn of Milltag.
Milltag began in 2010 when two London graphic designers with a shared passion for life in the saddle, were unable to find a cycling jersey that was either plastered with sponsors’ logos or simply indistinct from other generic cycle wear.
As designers with a love for street culture, snowboarding and music, Ed and Pete’s mission became clear: to produce high quality, technical cycle-wear that are pieces of art for people like them.
Since launching, they have been lucky enough to work with a number of extremely talented artists and completed several collaborative projects including the legendary band the Pixies, London fixed gear store Brick Lane Bikes, frame makers Brother Cycles, infamous cycling blogger “Prolly is not Probably” and Cosmic bike polo team.
Milltag has quickly established itself as the go-to brand for those wanting cycle-wear with personality and individuality, and has built up a very loyal and dedicated following across the world.
