We’ve just got back from our pre-ride of the TT course. There were mixed emotions in the group about the course. There are a couple of sections where there is a bit (Lot) of gravel on the road which makes those areas a little harder than perhaps they should be.
It also hard to get a clear picture in your mind when it raining the whole time you are on the course. But over all its a good course, very different anything you’d get in the UK. Lots of small hills, and twisty downhills. Straighlines through the corners are possible, so I think the winning time is going to be very fast.

For the team now it a case of relaxing and moving over to race accomodation. Penny is on her way, provided the french air strike isn’t too bad. So fingers crossed there.
There’s a bit of work to do on the bikes after the day in the rain. There is also the team presentation at 6pm this evening.
After that, dinner together and then a team meeting to discuss stage 1. It’s due to stay a bit wet here over the next 4 days, which could change the race a lot. Its 20 degrees cooler today, so its going to possible to race these 4 days very hard. If it had stayed at 35 degrees, I think days 3 and 4 could have been very hard.
Anyway, we’ll bring you more updates as soon as we can.

Good luck to all of you – & thanks for all the info! You realise you’ve got me expecting More Info Than Manel?
Have a blast, burn up the roads, I’m so excited for you all to be riding out there
